Appearance: o Overall length: 1.70 - 2. 60 m, and weigh up to 80 kg. They have a deep black shiny fur.
Lifestyle: o They assmilate to almost every habitat, where they hunt daily and nightly. They can silently get closer to their prey and then kill it with one bite in the neck (throat or barque) or breaking the backbone. When it is satiated, panther lays the remains of the prey on the tree to defend it from scavengers. Moreover, black panther can mange 3 days without water. Panther is a loner, that only hunts and lives in pairs in mating season. When necessary, they
swim but mostly they are tree- and rock-climbers
Nourishment: It preys on every kind of animal, depending on the habitat: large ruminants, boars, large birds, monkeys etc ...
Reproduction: After 100 days of gestation period, female gives birth to 2-4 blind cubs, who are defended and nursed. After 4 years they become completely adult.
Characteristics: Black panther is not a separate panther-form. It is just the melanistic form of leopard - dark form. Because of fashion(pelages for women), this species is extinct in some areas. There came a Baboon Plague, as panthers are regulation
